Urban IT was founded in 2002 by Brian Zander with a straightforward goal: give small and mid-size businesses access to the same caliber of IT services that large enterprises take for granted, without the enterprise price tag or the impersonal service that tends to come with IT firms who get bought out by private equity.
More than two decades later, that mission has not changed. We are headquartered Westlake Village, and our team serves businesses throughout West Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, and Ventura County. Our clients range from law firms and other professional services to e-commerce companies and medical practices.

I started Urban IT because I saw too many businesses frustrated by IT providers that promised more than they delivered. They were responsive during the sale, but hard to reach when something went wrong. They fixed issues after the fact, but did not always take the time to prevent them. We built Urban IT to be different. That starts with being honest about what we can and cannot do, and only taking on clients where we believe we can deliver real value.
